Declaration of Faith

1. Inspiration of the Scriptures
We believe that the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible and authoritative standard of faith and conduct revelation of God to man, the infallible and authoritative standard of faith and conduct.

2. God in three persons
We believe that the one true God has revealed Himself as the eternal self-existent Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as a Trinity, that is, one Being existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, as revealed in the Scriptures; we believe in his virgin birth, his sinless life, his miracles, his death on the Cross, his resurrection, and ascension to the right hand of the Father.

4. Creation and the fall of man
We believe that man was created good and upright. However, he voluntarily sinned and was condemned not only to physical death, but to spiritual death, which is separation from God.

5. Salvation
We believe that the only hope of redemption for man is through the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance before God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

6. The ordinances of the church
We believe in water baptism and holy communion.

7. Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe that all believers should seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues, according to Acts 2:4. This experience is power for the believer to witness with his life and words.

8. The initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of believers in the Spirit is evidenced by the sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit directs them (Acts 2:4).

9. Sanctification
We believe that sanctification is separation from sin and consecration to God.

10. The Church and its mission
We believe that the Church is the divinely called body of Christ. Its mission is to evangelize the world, to worship God, and to encourage believers to grow in Christlikeness.

11. The Ministry
We believe that our Lord has provided a ministry that constitutes a divine and ordained calling for the threefold purpose of leading the church.

12. Divine Healing
We believe that healing is possible through the atonement and that it is the privilege of all believers.

13. The Second Coming of Christ
We believe that the blessed hope of the Church is the return of Christ in order to take with Him those Christians who have died and those who are living, to live with Him forever.

14. The events of the end of time

We believe that Christ will return with His saints to establish a thousand-year reign of peace.

15. The final judgment
We believe that the final judgment of sinners will come.
